An Interesting (?) Piece of Cedar

I seem to have been kept rather busy recently with rather mundane "bread and butter" jobs, and with preparing designs for some forthcoming commissions (watch this space!).  In the last few days, though, I've made space to do some work on the cabinet.   I've glued it up now, and am working on the back panel and doors.  I had a piece of cedar with a very large, long knot, and quite liked it, framed in one of the openings made by the shelves.  Or is it too much?  On reflection I think it probably is, so am putting off further work on it for a while to think about it further.  NB the small horizontal shelf, which rests on moveable pins,  is a mock up!
