An Oak Bureau

Our main project at the moment is an Oak Bureau for a couple who live in a lovely cottage that's a bit short on space. There's an alcove about four feet across for which they wanted a piece of furniture to use for writing, to store papers, and to hold a computer. We spent quite a long time juggling with different layouts, trying to find something that would be both practical and elegant, while fitting in with their existing antique furniture. The style is pure Arts and Crafts. Construction is now proceeding apace, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
